FACE FOOD™ AGE WELL CREAM

A blend of 10 potent certified organic oils, high in natural ceramides, goes into Face Food: Thistle, Rosehip, Grapeseed, Jojoba, Apricot Kernel, Japanese Camellia Seed, Hemp, Argan, Borage and Tamanu. It also uses a combination of powerful active ingredients such as Lupine Seed Extract (peptides), Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera and Panthenol to give this product a super luxurious feel as it penetrates the skin - you will notice a plump and soft finish. These ingredients stabilise and boost the skin’s metabolism, which encourages the production of collagen and elastin. This helps to reduce the depth of stress lines, dark spots and stimulates wound and scar healing.

Organic Colloidal Oatmeal + AvenaPLex
This is a proprietary lipid complex obtained by ethanol extraction from oat kernels. This extract is rich in natural sterols, ceramides and fatty acids. It contains active compounds that help restore the integrity of the skin barrier.
Organic Cocoa Butter Shea Butter
*NOTE: We swapped cocoa butter with shea butter! They are quite similar but shea butter is creamier in texture in our opinion and has a comedogenic rating of 0-2, which means it can penetrate the skin without clogging pores. It is highly compatible with most skin types and is designed to make stressed and dry skin supple, soft and smooth.
Organic Sea Buckthorn
This cold-pressed "miracle oil" contains over 20 vitamins and is the richest natural source of vitamin A. Contains vitamin E, provitamin D, vitamin K1 as well as magnesium, calcium, zinc and beta carotene. Anti inflammatory and promotes cell rejuvenation.
Frankincense, Lavender, Geranium, Neroli and Ylang Ylang (all organic) essential oils are added for their healing properties and to create an uplifting and distinctive subtle fragrance.

Apply to freshly cleansed face, neck and décolletage using upward strokes. Use morning and night.  

Top tip! Apply it onto damp skin - this gives the ingredients something to cling on to.

Refill Sachets:
Cut the corner edge off. Carefully squeeze the entire contents into your clean and dry container. Dispose of your empty sachet in your recycling bin.

Why we use black/dark violet jars & bottles:
It is not purely an aesthetic choice. They serve a vital and practical function, key to maintaining the quality of natural formulas. Plants, especially essential oils, become negatively impacted by light. Q. Does Face Food contain SPF?
No. We recommend wearing SPF every day on the face. You can layer it on top of Face Food or use Face Food as a night cream.

Q. I have allergies, can I use Face Food?
Sometimes, essential oils can cause irritation on the skin as they are so powerful. Having said this, we only use 0.8% which is under the standard percentage. We made this decision with sensitive skin in mind. We recommend using the unscented version if you have concerns.

If you have hyper sensitive skin, please consult with your dermatologist or GP.

Q. Is Face Food safe to use during pregnancy?
The combined total of the essential oils are low (at 0.8%) and none of the oils used is medically contraindicated in pregnancy. That said, our view is that one should always be led by the nose - ie if you don't like the smell of something it is probably best to avoid using it - from an experiential perspective rather than a safety one. It is always safest to consult with your GP.
